Bang on! I agree talent wise they are the weakest of the remaining 4 teams...but they do deserve to be there and so far are FAR from appearing to be outmatched. Who would have predicted Dallas to reach the final last year? My guess...nobody. I am far from saying Montreal will beat Vegas and even further from saying they will win the cup but lets be honest, they are way better than most expected or hoped for. Either way I am proud of this team.

You are right about that. But having covered the NHL for almost 40 years now, the one thing I feel I've learned about the playoffs is that you can't judge anything by what happens in Game 1. The two teams are just kind of feeling each other. To me, the series doesn't get serious until Game 2. Thanks for reading!
